“Ryan Donais, Ground Disturbance 201 focuses on the safety of workers by educating course attendants to think about every action they may perform on a worksite. With this knowledge it's possible for every worker to be part of overall safety and gives the worker the understanding of what safe work practices are and highlights unsafe work practices. Including worker and employer responsibilities in the course allows the worker to speak out on unsafe work with confidence. Suggesting a safer way to work doesn't seem a daunting task if because the correct practices are made a standard and easy to follow. Going home at the end of the day is more important than making the company money by taking shortcuts. Shortcuts by definition involves cutting something out. The course modules are accompanied by well written challenge tests that don't leave the student asking what the correct answers were. I would suggest adding some video content of real people working and commenting on aspects of the course to liven it up as a means of connecting deeper to the content.”
