The tape used to seal the box was completely inadequate and it was pure luck that items were not lost in transit.
It took about an hour for two of us to erect the tent (YouTube videos helped!). The poles are connected but must be aligned with the marked grooves before slotting into place. Keep in mind the curved shape of the frame you are aiming for to avoid slotting poles together the wrong way around.
We left the bottom two sections of the legs unconnected so that it was easier to pull over the fabric and get seams correctly aligned with the frame before lifting and slotting legs to full height. Adding the feet and the tape which hooks to each leg helped to stabilise the frame effectively.
Two people can erect this, we are using as a garden gazebo so the time taken wasn’t important. The overall quality is quite good particularly the fabric. The frame seems quite robust but I am concerned that over time it may rust. Although it took an hour I think we could reduce this to about 40 minutes in the future.
Overall it’s a very effective sun shade, it replaced a cheaper rectangular gazebo that had a concertina type frame which was quick to erect but didn’t last.”
