This is a common error ith folks that are unfamiliar with Valrhona. There are 2 dates listed "P" on the bottom, which is the Production date & another with "E" above it, which is the best by date.
Sorry for any confusion, however, please know you product is well within it's self-life period. Which actually is well beyond that posted date, as cocoa is not like milk in that it is only good until a specific date. Hopefully, this alleviates your concerns.
