“I purchased this among a few other devices after Vuse Vibe was recalled bc I heard Njoy was the closest but the store only had this device.
Initially I really liked it, it was bulkier than I was used to, but I quickly adapted to its functionality. The battery life was really amazing and I adapted quickly to the flavors and appreciated the size of the tanks.
However, after using for a week and a half, I began having issues. First, all the lights would stay on and the device would not function. Then, the lights began to blink in sequence like it does when it is charging and would not work. Then, it began to work if I switched it off, then on, but the lights would eventually begin to cycle again. I checked tanks, I switched tanks, nothing fixed it. Eventually, it would not stop cycling the 3 lights. I smacked it with my hand, then it worked for about 5 minutes before returning back to the charging light sequence, regardless if I switched the it off or on.
I ended up opening up the device, removing the screws (I though maybe the battery became dislodged)and found that the entire inside was full of juice.
No wonder it wasn’t working! I think it’s funny Vibe was recalled and this is more of a safety issue than the Vibe, for sure. When juice is leaking into the mechanics and the wires/battery and you’re plugging it in to charge, there is definitely a HIGH risk there. I tossed it. Waste of money. Didn’t have it for longer than 2 weeks. It’s a shame because I began to enjoy the mint and it was similar enough to the Vibe and the device itself. I didn’t do anything to it that should have caused that, I had the same Vibe battery for over two years. I’m not hard on my vape products. There was simply no reason whatsoever that that should have happened at all, much less in having it (functioning) in less than two weeks.
On a side note, it is almost impossible to access where the tank connects. If something happens and you need to clean it (the directions say “check the connection”) you literally cannot get to it or the area around it. I tried to clean it out with a q-tip in case something was stuck in there to cause the horrendous functionality, and it was still too large to get down there enough to wipe it out effectively.
It’s really unfortunate that I do like the way this actually performs when it works, but because of my issues, I will not be repurchasing. Save the time, energy, and potential risk for something else.”
“I loved this when it worked . But now the lights stay on and it does not work. I have tried two different tanks and nothing works . I charged it and after I unplugged it lights stay on. It’s basically useless after 2 weeks of purchase.”
