“Nice little mod for the price, it's the only SMOK product I own that doesn't leak! Great battery life and hits well, but it really needs airflow control. The top fill is nice but the slide cover opens waaaaay too easily. I never take it out of the house for fear of juice spills in my pocket or purse.”
“Works well, great flavor, no leaking as far as I cold tell, unless I don't push the coil in tightly. The o-rings on the coil makes the seal. Would like a little more battery life, but since I also have Nords as backup that isnt really a minus in my book. All in all a great little starter mod.”
“the nord coils are the best and this device is best of the nord-users that ive tried (original nord pod device, the AIO 22 & AIO 19, and the trinity alpha) variability of power is great as is the draw. i like it. 2 negatives: the refil cap seems like it slides open too easily and MIGHT leak. i put an extra gasket around it and it solves the problem (If it was a problem). no air flow adjustment (i fixed that by replacing the original driptip w/ one that has adjustment option)”
“I’m only going to give the Trinity 4 stars because it doesn’t have an airflow adjustment, but other than that it’s a good pod system. I really like being able to swap out coils instead of the whole pod, it’s much more cost effective. I like my Orion Q, but the flavor on the pods is muted at best & I’m lucky to get through one fill up before the pod tastes burnt, regardless of which Nic Salts I use. At 10 dollars for 2 pods, that’s ridiculous. Therefore my Orion Q collects dust, not because it’s a bad pod system, but because the pods themselves are AWFUL & I don’t have an option of just replacing coils. The Trinity pods use the same coils as my Nord, so the 0.8 mesh coils give great flavor and last a reasonable amount of time, the same as they do for the Nord. The pods have never leaked in my Trinity. What I don’t like is the swivel cap over the fill port because I often find it opens slightly with just normal handling. If I was going to stick it in my pocket I wouldn’t trust it not to open completely and spill its contents in my pocket. I have had the same experience with other Smok products with this swivel cap feature, so you have to keep your eye on whether the cap covering the fill port is closed. The battery life is great, it lasts all day without a recharge and that’s with fairly frequent usage. My Uwell Caliburn is my favorite pod system, but the battery life is short. The Trinity is my go to system for great flavor, great battery life, and coil longevity. I’m glad I purchased it, but wouldn’t purchase a second one due to the faulty design of the swivel cap that covers the fill port & the inability to adjust the airflow.”
