I recently purchased the NXT and I haven't had to change the coil. The instruction recommendation in the manual states to just fill up the pod and wait 5 minutes for the coil to get penetration. No need to prime it. I like this. Before reading this I was attempting to get the coil out without success. It just pulls out from the bottom as opposed to screw out. It was in so tight that I failed to get it out. I was going to prime it. When I did a little more reading I realized it was unnecessary so I just filled it. Perhaps it would have come out easier if I had opened the fill hole?. Other than this and the mouthpiece cover I mentioned in the device review it gives a robust hit. A stronger hit than the Nautilus. I don't use nic salts or flavored juices. Tobacco flavored juice that was perfect for the Nautilus I find a bit stronger, and hotter, but and excellent draw. The juice I use is more milder but robust in the Nautilus just not as hot. There is no way to adjust this. It appears to get cooler when the charge goes to blue which is better for me. If this could be adjusted to what it delivers when the charge is lowered to blue it would be perfect. I'm glad I got it my Nautilus would no longer hold a charge and this just came to market. The coil size is 0.8 ohm the Nautilus is 1.8 ohm. The wicking ports are larger and makes for a stronger draw. What I think I will do is also buy another nautilus for this reason. But I am still sold on this device and the coils.
