“These menthol pods used to regularly be a more clear liquid, the best tasting disposable menthol pods in the market for years. For the last couple years the quality of the juice has nosedived. Most of the time you’ll find your pods to be filled with a horrid dark brown liquid and a wretched taste after not even 5 hits. I don’t know if it’s a cost-saving problem or a factory issue, but this system’s fall-from-grace in quality is almost historical. Everyone I’ve spoken to about it, including the salespeople at all of the Wawa’s I’ve tried, all tell me the same thing. Southeastern PA. Fix this issue or risk losing more dollar share on the market, Njoy.”

“I used to absolutely love these! In the past few weeks, I have gone to multiple Wawa’s in the Northeast Philadelphia area and surrounding suburbs and every single pack that I have purchased has been a dark brown sludge that taste horribly burnt and is terrible! I don’t know if this was supposed to be a formula change or if there have been problems with production but it has been horrendous! I really do not want to switch to another product but it looks like I have no choice. You guys really ruined a fantastic item!”

“Njoy must have altered the formula or something, as in the past few months most of the pods I have purchased have been burnt/brown juice right out of the pack. When I do rarely get a pod with clear juice, it burns out and tastes like burnt cotton halfway through the supposed life of the pod.”

“It’s almost like the Njoy pods have an extremely short shelf life, I’ve gotten pods where the juice is clearish color, how they are supposed to be, and I love this product. But 50% of time, the juice is brown, almost black and tastes burnt right out of the pack.”
