Superb kit! I always like to wait a while after buying something before leaving a review just to see if it will stand the test of time & I like to give a thorough review to help those who are undecided if they should shell out hard earned cash. After reading the instructions (Twice) while drinking a cup of tea and then watching the installation videos, again more tea was consumed (I paid particular attention to the videos as I wasn't sure what application roller head was for what stage, but you can tell as one roller head has stripes ;-) ) I was then ready to give it a try.. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the products, they all looked and felt excellent, the trims were uniform & very solid, the tool kit was very comprehensive with all the tools and equipment. Now I must say that an infrared/laser thermometer is a MUST, I started my install during Lock down when we had that heatwave & I thought "yer it's about 25'c air temp in the shade so mixed my first batch (thankfully it was only a small batch), within minuets of the resin being applied it had turned to jelly so this was scrapped & chalked up to a rookie mistake. The other MUST is a decent set of digital scales (Best not to use the wife's baking scales unless you wrap them loosely in cling film first), I have an old set of air conditioning scales that weigh down to 0.01g and they were ideal. I dug out my laser thermometer and it turned out that the roof panel was nearly 35'c so mixed my second batch according to the instructions, low and behold it all went on like a dream and looked fantastic (until a swarm of flying ants descended) .......Ants removed and it was time for the topcoat, this I mixed to the same ratio (1&1/4 %) that I had done for the fibre mat and I have to say that the results were amazing, the whole roof looks very professional and has had a lot of good remarks from customers. It's now over 3 weeks since the roof was finished and we have had blistering sun and some seriously heavy rain, the roof has performed fantastically with no cracking and absolutely NO leakage. Water beads up and flows off the roof and into the gutter via the prefabricated rain drip that I purchased with the kit along with the side trims, corner trims and roof to building trim. Walking on the roof is a strange feeling as it's glossy finish makes you think that it's not dry but while walking about you don't hear any creaking or cracking noises and the whole roof feels stronger under foot (laid on top of 18mm OSB) I do have one gripe: the prefabricated corner trims are a different height to the edging trims so you do get left with a little step around the bottom edge, if I'd noticed this before I started I would have purchased extra glass matt to fabricate a neater corner but that's my only complaint if you can call it that. On a whole I strongly recommend you ditch that tired old roofing felt on your garage, summer house, shed or dog house and invest in a glass fibre kit from GlassFibreDirect When I need a roof for my next project it WILL be glass fibre and it WILL come from GlassFibreDirect Mark (Ipswich Suffolk)
