I bought the Panda Pro some weeks ago. So far so good. The kit arrived on time. Everything came except the brakes which were the wrong types. However that wasn’t much of an issue. In ter,s of performance, the kit performs well as expected but the speed always seems to be high and this uses up a lot of power. One thing I noticed though is that the speedometer is absolutely wrong in terms of reading. It shows almost half the speed which makes the riding less exciting. The controller is great and doesn’t get hot, the motor is quiet. Accelerating on hills is superb. The speed is good. I recommend this kit. It’s good enough

This is my honest review... Ordered the pro 48v 1000w kit on a rear 700c wheel on Thursday just after 5 pm , it was dispatched on the Tuesday afternoon . Kit arrived next day , well packaged ... It was fairly simple to put together just to try it out before deciding on the final wire routing which took a bit longer . I m using a 6 speed rear freewheel with Schwable Marathon 35mm tires (plus slime)... I m running it off 2 six cell 15 amp batteries in series so more like 44v (12cell) .. I use it to commute a 19 mile underlating round trip to work and back When fully charged and limited to 15amp it pulls a max 750 ish watts and will do 28 to 29 mph without pedalling for the first 5 miles n then slows to 26mph as the battery gets used , It will prob do about 32 miles on a full charge , with the help of moderate pedalling . With a 13 cell or even 14 cell (51v) I'd expect a max 35 mph . The speed controller and motor stays cool and quiet (just a gentle hum) at my amps/voltage/ wattage. The Spokes on the back wheel could be a bit thicker gauge tho, i feel they might be a weak spot in the future , the rims are good tho . The LCD display is ok ish , but can t get it to change the PAS modes , even tho I seem to have set it up correctly , it seems to always run at full power even tho I've set it to 50%/75%/ 99%. The voltage level indicator works well tho. It also won t show the correct mph , and seems to read very low , its not a problem to use it , but the speed/distance display is about halve the correct numbers when set at 700c, I have to set it to 32 inch and Kph to get the displayed numbers closer to the true mph/distance, maybe its faulty ? ... Overall pretty pleased and not had any issues with the motor/speed controller, and just a slight issue with the display after over 200 miles of 20 plus mph commuting, Best bit is that its only takes 5 mins longer than my car commute coz i can use a few short cuts but cost 6p in electricity instead of £2.50 in car :-) .

Very smooth running motor and WOW it is powerful. It's on my hubby's bike, too much power for me, had one go and couldn't believe it Packaging was very good and it was easy to fit, just took a morning to do both our bikes and now we are going around very happily up the hills
