“This is not a reflection on ProLighting which so far my experience has been fine. I received my two RAB Gotcha Plus 4/17 and installed them over the weekend. I spent a ton of time reading reviews and looking for a quality motion sensing flood light for my back yard. I keep reading RAB along with their warranty being the way to go. When I received the shipping box that should have contained two lights and brought it in the house I thought it was empty it was so light. Then after unboxing the Gotcha lights I found out why. I can't believe how cheaply these lights are made for $82. I feel like I've been completely duped and they are made is China. The best way I can describe them is a slight step above something you would buy at a dollar store. The only metal on the light is the base and adapter plate. The light arms and the sensor are all cheap plastic. No thumb screws to adjust the swivel of the arms but a Phillips screw. The threaded ring around the arms that let you tighten them is made of cheap plastic. I thought I striped it several times while putting a bulb in. It's a good thing that it comes with a 5 year warranty because it seems to me that any wind will either break the plastic arms at the base or I will have to continually re-adjust the arms. The positive is that both lights and motion sensors work but I'm so disappointed with the quality.”
