“I had 4 of these mounted high up in cedar trees to serve as landscape lights 5 years ago. They continue to function perfectly. So I am now adding two more. My one warning is not to use large staples to secure the electrical line feeding the light fixtures to the trees. As the trees have grown, the staples have pulled deeply into the tree bark and are kinking the wires. I don't think they can be pulled out. So I think the wire is going to have to be replaced and a different piece of hardware used to anchor the wires to the tree trunks.”
