“I bought 2 of these lights to test before I buy 80 of them for my whole house remodel. The quality of light is good, they don't hum of flicker. The color temp gets warmer as they dim. All that is great, what's not great is the way it turns off. When you slowly dim the light, it's smooth until about 10% brightness and then it pauses and then suddenly shuts off. It would be MUCH better if it would behave like a $7.50 Philips warm-glow bulb that gradually fades to 0% when you slowly dim to off.
If Philips can do it in a $7.50 bulb, why can't this expensive fixture do the same? I don't mind the cost, but I really need the better performance.
Sadly, living in California, I can't legally install E26 recessed fixtures.
Most people won't care about this little nuance, and in that case, these lights will be great. And most high-end LEDs don't dim to warm. I might still need to buy 80 of them since there are so few other options with the warm dimming feature that is important to me. It's a shame that DMF can't work out that last detail in the otherwise perfrct product.”
