“Two-sided printed instructions are a bit confusing. It showed the power supply as a separate piece but on what I purchased it was integrated into the plug. At first I thought I was missing a piece until I figured this out.
Also, on one side the instructions for installation started with connecting power supply to outlet, then to the motion sensor, and then connect light tape. The other side of the document gives instructions going in the opposide direction, starting with the light tape, then the motion sensor and finally connect to power. I used the second method and it worked well, but why the two, contradictory sets of instructions?
Also, the EZ connection terminals were anything but EZ. It took me two tries to get the light tape into one terminal (had to cut off and throw out several inches of the light tape to have a fresh connection to the soldered points).
Once I had everything connected and the green light appeared on the plug/adapter, I walked into the bathroom and, nothing. But about 15 minutes later I walked in again and, voila, it worked. Does it need time to power up? If so, instructions should say that.
This is obviously a quality product, much better than the $10 battery powered junk you can find on Amazon. Improved instructions and easier to use terminal connections would make it best of the best.”
