“Most "recessed" lights these days are the kind they sell at big box stores. Flimsy wafers that aren't actually even recessed. They splash light everywhere and look cheap (which they are). These units, on the other hand, are SOLID. We purchased both the eyeball and the fixed varieties, and they're very well made and all metal. The light is actually recessed (they call that "regressed" now that recessed has become meaningless) and with decent LED dimmers they dim from super bright to almost nothing. Long story short, these lights are incredible. Are they expensive? Yep, but you get what you pay for and they're worth it. If you want a quality light source that looks amazing, as opposed to the cheap units everyone else is installing these days, you will NOT be disappointed.”
