“Installed in 3/4" wood ceiling using the long extension cables. 1/2" thickness allows for presence of ceiling joist above cut-out. Spring clips worked great. Cut-out and install from below ceiling and locate driver box where accessible in attic. Low volt extension cable rated for in wall use. Very Nice!”
