“After speaking with Lutron Customer Service, they recommended this product as a solution to my problem. This product was advertised as a replacement for simple single-pole light switches, allowing a pica switch to be added. My existing switch had 2 wires (simple single-pole). This switch had 3 wires, with instructions not to use the blue wire for simple single pole legacy switches. Despite the simple DIY replacement, this switch caused an "always on" (although dimmed) condition.
I'm sure it's great for other conditions, but didn't work for me despite Customer Service recommendation.”

“Probably the only smart switch for non neutral wiring. Used this to install a Caseta Pico "remote" switch on the wall opposite of where I installed the Lutron smart switch. Installarion was simple requiring only a few wire nuts, pliers.to bend the house wiring, a screwdriver for mounting the switch to the box and some electrical.tape for taping the wire nuts and wires. Entire install took about 45 minutes, and I'm a terribly slow.”
