“I purchased this light because I was tired of having to replace lights purchased from the DYI big box stores. The motion detector of this light appears of significantly better quality than the several others I have tried. It is soffit mounted about 18' high which is higher than recommend but still gets triggered at about 20' away from the house which is perfect for me. In has been installed for several weeks now and has worked flawlessly. High wind used to trigger my last one but not with this one. It is too early to tell about durabilty but I have good feelings about it.”
