“There is no mention of this light being self assembly. It looks very hard to assemble for a number of reasons: The assembly kit comes complete with plastic gloves because you ideally wouldn't want to leave thousands of finger prints on the brushed satin copper spirals. As it is spherical this needs to be assembled while being suspended in the air. Not easy to achieve. It looks very nice in the picture, but when it is packed into a box in 30 or more separate pieces, I question my ability to assemble it perfectly. For £400 (reduced from over £650) I didn't expect to purchase a project, I just wanted a light. I still may return this and spend the money on something less challenging.”

Although I completely understand your comments I would ask you to consider that this light is not basic. Therefore professional assembly is advisory. Quality light fitting is a professional job not DIY. We always encourage you to contact our shop to receive professional guidance prior to making a purchase of our lights. I do appreciate hindsight is a wonderful thing. Please appreciate my comments are with best intention.
