“We used this mass loaded vinyl to create a diaphragm-like layer attached to a framing about the size of standard wall framing to help us absorb sound pressure and reduce the effect of standing waves in our room. It worked really well and reduced our peaks/dips of these standing waves anywhere from 5 to 15dB in our application.”

“My main advice to anyone looking to use this on a ceiling, I would suggest using the 1lb version as the 2lb is very difficult to install”

“Ordered this product for a apt I own. Below the kitchen of a apt I own is a studio apt . You could hear everything. I put this down first over a hardwood floor and then installed a vinyl flooring. Made a big improvement. Very happy with results.”
