“This is a well-constructed jacket and is highly waterproof and I really like the double storm flap on the zip to keep driven rain out. The material does not absorb any water, meaning when you get back to base, a quick shake and it's virtually dry. Small negative points are the sleeves are far too generously cut and as a result, the jacket bunches up around the shoulder sleeves. The detachable hood blows all over in any wind and would be better if it was a grown-on hood. When the hood is stored in the collar, it makes the collar too thick and stiff. The circumference of the hood, when fastened, is smaller than the circumference of the coat collar, meaning it is very difficult to securely fasten the hood velcro. Overall, its a good jacket that keeps me dry and warm in the driving rain.”
