“Very good quality and well made. The Aegis fabric/membrane is very similar in thickness and overall performance to GoreTex Pro so on humid warmer hard raining days it did build moisture on the inner tricot lining and my bald head sweating made it rather damp (I’ll wear a wicking cap). Outer dried very very fast the tricot inner face less so. I look forward to seeing how it performs in extended biblical rain compared to my previous long serving Paramo Alta jacket. Fit allows for plenty of layers if required, easy to take on and off pockets are huge. Zips for them require some working in but that’s not unusual for waterproof zips. Cuffs are superb with that inner neoprene sealing. My one and only proper down side is it has to be hung on a hanger to air/dry/store and not having a boot room or utility room make sure your hall way coat stand/pegs can take a jacket on a hanger. Would have been nice based on cost of the jacket if a nice broad hanger could be provided or a suitable located inbuilt hook that wouldn’t stress the jackets joints/membrane/fabric.”
