On receipt the jacket was a good fit for me (5' 10" and size 42/43). The arms were quite snug and they are lined so it slips on smoothly which I like. Being snug I think it would be quite warm (good). The lining is a brushed cotton tartan but frankly I did not think it was great quality. I liked the look of this jacket and was hoping for a rugged canvas finish, but on arrival it was slightly darker brown (I prefer the lighter shade). The fabric was also a lighter weight cotton than 'canvas' and seemed to crease easily. I suppose you get what you pay for. A good jacket for the money, but not for me...

A thought for you.... The jacket is super. It fits well, it's properly waterproof and doesn't get covered when I'm spreading hay. So I like it lots. But it needs a different lining. The pink/brown check of the lining of the jacket body is obviously a great favourite of yours (I have a matching shirt from you in the same material). But it drags on anything you're wearing when you try to put the jacket on. The sleeve lining is super smooth but the moment two arms are in and you're trying to shrug yourself into the jacket....it's harder work than you want. Perhaps the body lining could be similar to the sleeve lining?
