I love the light, slip-on feel of these shoes. They fit true to size - and I need a wider shoe for my toes. The only downside is that if you have plantar fasciitis (like I do), you will need a proper insole. There is a very thin memory foam insert that doesn’t provide much cushioning and next to no arch support. I popped in a pair of my favourite insoles under the removable insert and now I can wear them quite comfortably. If Aussie Soles wants to be in the “plantar fasciitis” business they will need to have some better inserts. This is NOT a shoe that deserves the name “orthotics”. I would pay an extra $10 or $20 to get an upgraded insert, one with good arch support, a deeper heel cup and some proper support behind the toe joints. This is not a great shoe if you have serious foot problems, but it’s great if you have only minor issues.

Hi there, we thank you and appreciate this thorough input for our advancement. We'll surely note this with priority. Our products are made from our own AusLite foam material, this is commonly known as EVA (Ethylene Vinal Acetate).   We are moving to a new blend of Auslite foam that will be part plant based using our sugarcane foam to reduce the amount of EVA included in our products and reduce our company carbon footprint treading lightly as we go.  Relating to the arch support, the more you expose the slides with body heat the better it moulds into your feet which hugs it with the arch support that is definitely a great help for plantar fasciitis. We still hope to improve in many more ways to get what our customers required for comfort, style, affordability and satisfaction with our products. We appreciate your feedback, thank you.
