“Fit perfectly and were incredibly comfortable. However the strap broke on the first day I was wearing them, which was unfortunate. Otherwise they’re a great thong, I’ve bought them before (this is a repurchase of a loved item which made the breakage even sadder).”
“The fit flops are perfect; exactly what I expected. There is one problem however... I somehow find a way to trip in them; often! The front of the sole folds in under itself and voila I’m airborne. Clearly this is user error and I focus to lift my feet properly... this works sometimes and sometimes not. The sole is a bit thinner than I remember and if I step on a rock it can be quite painful as there is not much cushioning. I don’t feel very safe in them and should have bought the orthotic ones instead with a more substantial sole. When breaking them in I got a blister on the instep of my foot also which I did not experience with a previous pair 15 years ago. I live in Toronto so they will be in storage for the winter and I will pull them out in the Spring and give them another try. These are perfect for beach life but for stones, country roads and Canadian cottage life the more substantial sole would have been the smarter choice for me. Don’t get me wrong... they are super comfortable, durable and attractive; the quality is outstanding!”
