“Literally turned it on 3x and battery is dead. Once to set it up and twice to use it quickly and try it out. Battery is now dead. Great idea. Useless with no battery life. Beyond disappointed.”
“I have to be breathalyze tested three times a week. I bought this to help me know when it is good to go in to get tested. One thing, with the mouthpiece added, it's totally off. With out the mouthpiece, it's more accurate but definitely not exact. After I get a 0.000, I wait an extra 30m to ensure that I don't read or hit because the BacTracs that they have at my place, they've read a full 0.01 off of this keychain BacTrac. So beware. Somewhat accurate, but after you get to 0.01 or even less, for a full zero reading, wait an extra half an hour to an hour. Good Luck my friends!!”
“Just got it, tried it before drinking, got the correct 0.0%, Tried it again after I reached the legal limit, as calculated by #drinks/time/weight. Reading dead on: .081% Tried it again after an hour, declined to .07+ as expected.
But I am a little concerned about the lifetime of the device, directions say only a month with daily use, supposed to get it calibrated after that, however that is done. But at the price can't complain too much,
One negative: registering for warranty on their web site REQUIRES opt-in of promotional junk, shame on them.”
“First, Youtube Detroit Police Bactrack. That piece is convincing to me, but just to be sure, I compared side-by-side three (3) BACtrack C6's with four (4) friends over a few nights of carefully monitored drinking--with and without food intake. Bottom line: All tracked nearly the same. I am. a. fan.
