“Bactrac cancelled my order twice. I never received this product. Supposedly cancelled because they thought my order was fraudulent. I tried to order on 2 different occasions with different credit cards.”
“This model is so solid. I've had cheaper BAC monitors in the past but the extra $50 for this model was well worth it. Like past models, it makes a long beep noise while you should be blowing into it but you can also feel the device lock too (at the end of the long beep). Cheaper models start their countdown to blow at 30 seconds, this model starts its countdown at 5 seconds (much better). It also has 2 modes ("device mode" and "app mode"). If you want to use a smartphone app, you have the option. I prefer just using it in "device mode" but, at least with this model, I have the option to download the associated app and use it in "app mode". Just remember if you see the device turn on and it says "app mode" and you don't have the app, just hold down the power button for a consistent 7 seconds to toggle it back to "device mode".”
“Buy it!!! Never be without it!! BAKtrack C8 has taken the guess work out and replaced it with hard data I can trust!!! How I feel after a few drinks is irrelevant; I have the data in my hands now! I take my BAKtrack C8 with me anytime I leave the house knowing I'll be drinking. I feel so much more confident, no more paranoia worrying if I've had too much. Now I know exactly how much I've had. I'll pause drinking, rinse my mouth and take a few swigs of water, wait a minute, and test... (You only want to sample exhaled air from lungs! Alcohol coated mouth and esophagus will give false numbers). Be sure to also carry fresh batteries, ...also important! This is a game changer!!!! I will be a return customer for sure!!! I can't live without this device.”
