In the end, I chose the Element for its great reviews, cost, and the fact that it uses the same technology as other high-end BACtrack breathalizers. I like the minimalist design and rock solid feel. This device feels like a quality heavy duty breathalyzer that's made to last. And, most importantly, the results are so accurate and consistent. Like other breathalyzers using the same technology, it will need to be returned to BACtrack each year or so for calibration. I haven't yet needed to do this so I can't comment on it. Just be aware that it will eventually be necessary to keep it accurate.”
