“I had a bactrack c6 for 3 yrs then the readings became erratic. Sent it in for a calibration (you're supposed to do this every year, oops) and it was not salvageable. I opted to get a cheaper bactrack (bactrack keychain) but the readings are 0.08 after 2 coors lights. I bought my girlfriend a bactrack c6 since i liked and trusted mine so much recently. Once I blow into my gf's backtrack c6 it reads 0.025. The readings are consistent for both. My gf's c6 and my old c6 were consistent with eachother. Perhaps the higher cost of the c6 version is worth it versus the bactrack keychain? Obviously questioning my bactrack keychain numbers at this point.. or maybe the c6? Who knows!”
“I do not drink, but when my friends/family do we always play this game about "How drunk do you feel?" As interesting as the game is to us (a lot of conversations get started from it), it became REALLY fun when I can gauge the levels with the BAC.”
“I really wanted to like it, but I feel like the device registers far higher than what your BAC really is. I had two 5% hard seltzers and it told me I was over the legal limit. I waited 20 minutes before blowing like the instructions said. I think if you're going to buy from Bactrack get the more expensive models for more accurate readings.”
“Got these for me and as stocking stuffer gifts after serving as a juror on a driving while intoxicated case. Would recommend having this handy. Small, easy to use, reasonably priced and peace of mind (and a little fun too)”
“I use this once a week and everytime I drink it's 4 beers at bowling, and it has checked at .03bac each time. One time I also took a shot on top of the 4 beers, and it checked all zeros twice in a row. Then on 3rd try it checked .09bac. So idk...”
