“I have owned the BACTrack Mobile Pro for a little over a month and love the portability and ease of use. It is great to have more confidence when drinking if it is safe to drive. The only downside I can think of (and the reason it's a 4 start review instead of 5 stars) is that if your phone dies, you cannot use the breathalyzer on its own.
A device like this is invaluable in helping prevent DUI's - the $100 dollar cost of the device is well worth avoiding the approximate $15,000 cost of a DUI. Not to mention the bonus to public safety for other drivers on the road.”
“I had a serious drinking problem and after 3 or 4 slips and "I swear it won't happen again"s, my wife kicked me out of the house until I got treatment. Even though I sobered up and returned home, the trust still wasn't there. This device/app allows me to send breathalyzer results to my wife via text with a new unique URL generated within BACtrack's system indicating BAC and GPS location. “It's a great tool to carry around. After a few drinks, you check your BAC and it is surprising to see how high it can get but even more it tells you when the alcohol will be completely out of your body which can often be as long as 12 hours even with only a few drinks.”

“I own both an S-80 and Mobile Pro. The S-80 was factory calibrated shortly after I received my new Mobile Pro. I compared readings after three or for "sessions." The Mobile Pro registered approximately .03 higher than the newly calibrated S-80. BACtrack offered free calibration of the Mobile Pro but informed me it was testing within tolerance. I have yet to compare the two since it was returned. All that said, this is a valuable tool which I use frequently. I highly recommend the products with the caveat that results may differ from law enforcement results. Use with this in mind.”
