“I received the product and was please with the hardware and the software as i found it easy to function. Unfortunately the very functionality seems to lack accuracy with my unit. The same night I unboxed it, i brought it along to a friends house. I have one shot and read .04.... about 4 shots later i was a .03. A friend of mine who could barely speak blew a .07 and then a .21 a minute later. It seems to bee all over the place. I am hoping that I didnt just throw $100 away and perhaps there is an issue with my unit.”

“I have had three different breathalyzers from this company through the years and this by far is their best product. Previous products had issues with the sensor malfunctioning over time but I've had this product for six months and it has worked flawlessly. The size of the product and the use of the computational algorithms being managed by the smart phones makes it so that you can carry it with you all of the time. Although I am never legally intoxicated there is value in tracking the alcohol level over time in that you can demonstrate the absorption phase and the breakdown by the liver enzymes. This is important because one could stop drinking and not realize that their blood alcohol level will rise due to the delay in absorption from the gastrointestinal tract. I have given this as a gift to all of my adult children and they continually use the product. The only negative is that you must disable the tracking component of the software which is done easily enough but should not be included in future models.”
