“I like this product. well made. do not like having to ship back for yearly calibration. Biggest problem is that you have to wait 20 minutes after eating or drinking to use it. Who can do that at a bar or restaurant?? this is a major design flaw and not one the police BAC share”

“Has to date been a very good product. I was a bit surprised how drunk .08 actually was. Although for me the product seems to read a bit lower than most other people (I am an active white male 5' 11" about 195 lbs). When compared to online BAC charts given my alcohol consumption over a given time period, it even came out a bit lower than what was stated online. Granted this may have something to do with tolerance ( I drink heavy about 2 days a week). I find that although you "aren't supposed to use to determine whether on not you can legally drive" that it is a good reinforcer not to in certain circumstances (if I test a .06 or higher I refuse to drive). Five blue lights in 2-3 hours will put me at about .04-.05. From my experiences it appears to not work as well when only drinking wine and I always follow the recommendations for the time period it takes to be able to accurately test. For me personally, I am about to graduate from Engineering School and have a lot to lose from getting a DWI. This product is a great way double check and make sure you are okay to get behind the wheel. I would highly recommend this product, most people do not even understand where .08 is on the drunk scale. Do yourself a favor, $130 breathalyzer or a $10,000 DWI.... the choice is simple. One last thing I would like to mention is that some people have trouble continually holding the amount of air needed to complete the test, however you can adjust this under the menu settings.”
