“I bought the original unit in 2012 and used it sparingly. I never gave a thought to recalibrating it until a few months ago when it stopped reading anything. I contacted the company but since it was so long out of calibration (they recommend once a year) they weren't able to recalibrate it. They were very nice though and gave me a nice credit towards a new unit. This one I will have calibrated yearly (19.99). As far as I could tell the unit was accurate up until it stopped working.”

“As a recipient of a DWI, I purchased the S80 a year ago and it has been very reliable.
As directed I returned my unit for its annual maintenance removing the batteries and the blow tube. It was returned within a week and to my surprise contained batteries and a nice case. Who know I would more back than I sent in?
But the real value is in the unit. Only wish I would have been smart enough to get serious about checking my blood alcohol level BEFORE the DUI.
