“I have been having many difficulties with a dog I adopted at 4 months. Steve helped me understand that the dog missed an important window of opportunity for socialization before he came to live with me. I realize now that the dog's unwelcome behaviors make sense, given this lack of connection early in life. Steve also demonstrated ways to keep the dog from jumping on people and barking at other dogs while on walks.”

“My dog is 18 and I thought her days of needing stimulation were over (she mostly sleeps between belly rubs). I am so glad I watched this video. It helped me understand how improtant her sense of smell is to her quality of life and that she can still have fun (even though she's mostly blind and deaf) because her nose still works perfectly! The muffin pan tip is amazing, as are the other suggestions for enriching her life with novel and interesting scents. I've pulled my muffin pan out of storage! I wish I'd watched this video years ago, but I'm so glad I got to see it while there's still time. Thank you for making my elderly dog's final years more interesting and fun, Mr. Mann...and for giving us a way to connect through play, even in our later years. Can't thank you enough.”

“The videos I am able to watch are excellent. I rely on subtitles as I have a severe hearing loss, not all of the videos are subtitled some are and some are not. I have emailed BBC Maestro about this but they seem unable to reply or sort it out. This is not a criticism of Steve Manns videos at all but of BBC Maestro's lack of comprehensive subtitles, and their inability to sort things out or respond to emails.”

“Good course, with very high production values. I've read a couple of Steve's books, but felt like this was a succinct distillation of his training principles. I really appreciate the coursebook, which I've printed and interspersed with pages for training notes and a training diaries. With this foundation I feel more confident in anticipation of our soon-to-be puppy!”
