“The first 2 lessons were just too general. As a professional actor I need specific information not general comments like ‘be kind to yourself’ or ‘study the script’, we know all this. We need ways to break through, ideas for rebranding yourself, helpful, tangible advice not airy fairy chat.”
Hi Nicola,
Thanks for your review. We value every BBC Maestro customer, and really value your feedback.
All courses have detailed course notes to accompany them, which a lot of learners find really useful when watching a course. The course notes for Brian Cox's course have lots of helpful tips about auditions, developing your style, and practicing for auditions (including an interview with Nancy Bishop).
I hope this helps, but feel free to contact our amazing customer service team at support@bbcmaestro.com if you would like more support!
Best,
Rebecca

The amount of precious knowledge and insights into the world of acting, given with such generosity and enthusiasm, more than exceeds the price of admission. Brian is an excellent actor and, judging by this course, a wonderful human being, teacher and professional. I haven't finished this course, yet, but I have no doubt it will not disappoint.”
