“He's the real deal. And he's patient. He may be the most down-to-earth Video Guru I've come across. However, Sorkin's Masterclass was better because it was an immersive experience with other students. We had to pick a dead show (as in no longer airing) and write an episode. I made a friend or two from that class.”

“Bill Lawrence’s insight into storytelling, character development, and crafting compelling narratives was truly invaluable. I appreciated how he broke down complex concepts - industry recommendations on representation, and candid truths about being a writer. It's the closest you'll get to having him as a mentor!”

“Some useful tips on structure, characterisation, etc. Good insight into how writers' rooms work and some tips/encouragement on how to network, pitch ideas, and build a portfolio.
My main criticism is that the course came from an LA perspective - inevitable given Bill Lawrence's experience and career. I would have prefered a maestro speaking from a UK TV comedy perspective.”
