“I am a novelist and have writtern a TV pilot. This is one of the best overviews i have encountered on the art of TV writing. He emphazises combines originality and awareness of convention, which is what makes the TV scene so exciting. Sometimes the BBC edits include repetitive info from lesson to lesson But Jed Mercurio is a true master, worth listening to everything he has to say.”

“Having watched perhaps twelve or thirteen videos in a cursory fashion it is too early to give definite answers .However one aspect that took me totally by surprise was Jed,s idea of using scientific theories as templates for writing practice. I will watch and absorb the remainder of the course and then start from the beginning again in a serious way.”
