“I purchased a single Dreemi mattress nearly two weeks after it was released. According to the description online, you could also purchase additional inserts. However, what Clark Rubber fails to tell you is that the prices advertised for the inserts ONLY apply if you purchase the insert when you purchase the mattress!! How on earth are you supposed to know if you need the additional insert unless you try the mattress first? After trying the mattress for 2 weeks I realised I needed additional support and went to buy the copper insert. Ironically, the Clark Rubber store I went to did not even have any of the Dreemi inserts available (!) They told me that the Clark copper insert was the same as the Dreemi copper insert albeit without the Dreemi logo. Then came the kicker - the price of the copper insert was advertised as $209 BUT only if you purchased it WITH the mattress. The price for me was $300, which was 2/3 the price of the original mattress. I purchased the insert on Boxing Day when Clark was advertising 20% off certain items; when I pointed out (1) that NOWHERE on the Dreemi Mattress webpage was it indicated that the prices for inserts only applied if you purchased said insert with the mattress, and (2) how are you supposed to KNOW you need an insert until after you have tried the mattress, they gave me an extra 10% off. I had no other choice but to accept the offer, but I am extremely disappointed with Clark Rubber for their misleading advertising. Not to mention the fact that they didn't even have the Dreemi inserts in stock when I purchased the mattress, nor were they in stock two weeks later. So my whole experience with the Dreemi mattress has been soured by the misleading advertising and the store's inability to acknowledge the absurdity of selling inserts at a lower price ONLY when you buy them WITH the mattress when you don't even know whether you need an additional insert or not!! SO this is my warning to potential buyers of Dreemi mattresses - the stipulated price of each insert only applies if you buy it with the mattress. If you purchase it at a later date expect to pay another $100+ for each insert. BUYER BEWARE Very disappointed with Clark Rubber for their incredibly misleading advertising and their poor handling of the situation, do better.”
