“Labs Performance: The lab environment was noticeably slow, which impacted not just my experience but that of the trainer and other participants as well. Since this is the first exposure to the Palo platform for many of us, such performance issues can create initial distrust and reluctance among engineers to engage with the platform. Additionally, some lab elements from previous students were not cleaned up, which interfered with provisioning and caused unnecessary delays. Ensuring a clean lab environment before each session would greatly improve the experience and help students make the most of the limited time available. Trainer: The trainer was knowledgeable, approachable, and consistently willing to help resolve problems. The pace of the training was appropriate during the first day and the first half of the second day, with the trainer taking time to check in on our understanding and gather feedback. However, later in the course, the pace felt rushed—almost like a race to the finish line. While I appreciate having the recorded videos for reference, moderating the speed in the later sessions could benefit future students and ensure everyone can keep up comfortably.”

“I have a few recommendations to improve the course: Make more of the course composed of hands on labs instead of a majority focused on the theoretical Extend the lab access time to 1 month instead of 1 week Increase system resources allocated to client a and client B VMs - 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM Include notice that its recommended to use Edge for compatibility reasons”
