Best iron saute pan I ever bought. It gets hot really quickly, keeps the heat and is ideal for stews! I love it and will be using it for years to come thanks to its amazing build quality!

Even with two handles I found the pan unusable as it was too heavy. So I gave it away to my son. Your advertising material needs to publicise the weight, so that prospective buyers can be better informed about the usability of the pan.

I've had this Saute pan all through the pandemic and it's been a joy to cook in. It holds enough for two of us and leftovers. It heats beautifully, simmers without burning and if needs be can finish off in the oven. It's heavy and you must hand wash to keep the patina, but nothing this beautiful and functional comes without some care and attention. Both daughters have already put down markers for when I'm too frail to use it. They're not getting it yet!!

Possibly the best pan I have ever bought. I use it constantly. It’s the right size, the right shape and the right design for sauces, risottos, casseroles and almost any other one-dish supper you can think of. I love it.

Of I could only save one pan it would be this one. Very practical, enormously versatile and just the perfect size for a small household. I use mine every day, and don't even begrudge having to hand wash it - a first! - as it is so easy to clean.

I had high hopes for the Crane C2 as a cast iron, vitreous enamelled, pan that I wanted to use for any meal, from breakfast to slow cooked suppers. In fact, whilst it can do it all, it’s finicky. I’ve been introduced to "thermal shock", which is the pan's reaction to being heated up too quickly. With that, onions, eggs, etc., stick to the pan. The solution is to heat up slowly, cook slowly and not use it for meals you want to get to the table quickly.
