“Well this is my first crossbow so I can't really compare it others. So far I am very impressed. It was extremely quick to set up, the manual is clear and easy to follow. It is surprisingly powerful, in fact if you buy this crossbow for the first time consider investing in a proper crossbow target. I just built mine from plywood and densely stacked carboard and still my bolts go in almost all in.
Despite this power the Revo 7 is very easy to load and reload. I have not really tried it for speed yet, focusing on accuracy. And the thing is super accurate for a pistol crossbow. At 10 meters I used the iron sights and got the bolts within an inch of my aim, in fact I was reluctant to shoot in the same spot for fear of hitting the old bolts. I tried with the red dot at 20 meters and my first shot was just 2 inches from where I aimed. This is with the field points and no calibration of the red dot. Rain has been stopping me from further practice. Going forward I think I will invest in a proper target and maybe the 60lb limbset as that may be more suitable for practice.
Overall this is a fantastic crossbow which looks great, very comfortable to use and shoots great, even for a beginner like me.”
