“The fact that this is made of metal means that I can't use it on metal handlebars without a high risk of damaging the handlebars. Would be nice if there was a rubber seal or something to prevent that. Would also be risky to use with carbon fiber handlebars.”
“While I like the duo mount when it is put on, it can slip around the handlebar because Electra 9D is smaller and with angle. The Fly12 does not join with iPhone well and unclear how to turn on Fly12 and Fly6 with CycliqPlus app so all work together. May be easier to connect Fly12 to helmet rather than connecting with handlebar and Duo Mount..”
“Yes, If you allowed the F12 to connect directly to the Duo Mount without the adapter. 2nd, the handlebar attachment ring is way too big. I'm going to make an adapter so that it fits my handlebars. The rubber grommets don't allow me to close the gap at all. I have yet to McGyver a method to attach the duo mount to handlebars. I love the concept of the F12, I'm excited to have it and be able use it after I get it installed. While I'm here, the direct handle bar attachment for the F12? The ring is the right size, but the rubber grommet is way too much. I tried to McGyver old bicycle tires for the rubber grommet instead. If you provided a grommet half the thickness of the one provided in the kit, I would probably use that one instead of the Duo Mount.”
