“The rail mount with extension is a perfect for for my Fly 6 Gen 3. I use an ISM saddle and Lizard Skin seat bag and the mounts allow perfect clearance and stability to capture rides from behind me while the Fly 12 captures the forward view.”
“I up graded from the v to the gen 3. It is easier to mount, & has a better camera. Unfortunately, the battery life lets it down. I ride for about 5 hrs & my old fly 6 -v lasted the distance, the gen 3 stopped recording 45 minutes befor the end of my ride, & the light went flat before that.
I have to use an adfitional light to get home.”
“have a rear cycle camera from a different company with was almost 1/2 the price and works so well but I felt I still needed the front camera so I eventually jumpped in and brought the fly12 sport during a promotion.
The 2 units are worlds apart. As much as I thought the rear camera was exactly what I need and the fly12 sport just being too much for what it is I was so wrong.
The battery indicator, the light options, the camera fitting, the ease of saving files, really easy to use software to make changes to the camera, the Strava display you can add in. It’s great.
I ride every day and these 2 cameras could be the difference between identification or a hit and run.”
“Fantastic piece of kit and the picture stabilization is outstanding. One thing I think to improve it would be a bigger battery giving it a longer run time, I get around 3 to 4 hours run time but my rides can be anything up to 7 or 8 hours, charging it up during the ride isn't an issue but a longer run time would be even better.”

I've been using gopro8 until recently. Once i ride, I even carried 4 extra batteries and an powerbank just in case, and there was a hassle of having to erase the video every time. The video quality is definitely good with gopro. But if you consider the overall things (convenience, weight, playtime...), buy fly12 now. If you spend too much time worrying, you're the only one who loses your safety.”
“Bought June 2021, fly6 dead March 2023. Cycliq unwilling to replace the product. Despite gentle and limited use, the device failed. After trouble shooting with the tech support team I was informed that Cycliq wouldn’t be willing to replace their product and that it was way out of warranty (not even two years old). I’m very disappointed with the longevity of this expensive device and even more so by the lack of Cycliq’s customer support.”
