“Protector pack cover is a bit cumbersome to get on and off without dropping a lens now and again, so do it over a bare surface (you need to take it off to charge roughly every 2 hours). Keeps the rain out and allows clear video so it does what it's supposed to do.”
“This is my 3rd Fly6 (I also have the Fly12). This is my 1st Gen3. Much improved over the Gen1. Battery life is better, much better. The unit is easy to turn on/off (Gen1 was a pain.). The desktop software on a Mac actually works! With the Gen3, I was able to update the firmware without issue (never, never, could get the Gen1 to be recognized on the Mac, had to always borrow a PC). I bought the bundle... The "boot" comes with a plastic "lens" so the included "film" is useless or redundant depending on if the glass-half-full-or-half-empty. All-in-all, very pleased with the Gen3.”
