“A useful gadget to have out on the road when cycling. Especially in Australia as it’s not a county that is friendly to cyclists. Alpha personality type drivers who don’t like to share the Road. The more rural you get the worse the roads are.
The bike light gives you peace of mind for close passes and reporting though the police. Though they rarely act on it unless a serous accident occurs.
The battery life is low and you need to recharge before every ride. I set the light to its lowest settings. To make sure it lasts more than 4 hours. If you like to ride more than a 100km I bring an extra back light for peace of mind and safety.
The light is easy to use and has a good app interface to it too. I look forward to the next light if it had better battery life and a connection to your cycling head unit to control it. Especially when you get a close pass or near incident to index it on the light rather than stopping to index it on the light.
The light does give me a sense of safety in that I can report the bleep bleep drivers who drive unsafe and near crashes. Upload, Report See the Outcome”
