I purchased the IQ2. I LOVE IT! I had the Iq1. I liked it. But it got really hot after short term use and cleaning was a hassle( flavor chamber clogs easily). It's seems they really listened to their customers, and made great improvements. Insulation helped keepa the device from heating up as before, bigger chamber and flavor chamber is easy to Clean. I've told everyone I know how awesome they are!

As a proud owner of a Davinci IQ and a IQ Micro this one is AWESOME. Battery use is extended, the use of the dosage pods is an excellent addition to de dosage calculator on the app. Also found that by using the dosage pods the oven doesn't get as dirty as with the original IQ.This one now has become my favorite Vaporizer.

IQ2 review I’ve used the IQ for about 4 years now. The first one had so many problems they sent me another that is still working fine. But I had to try the new IQ2. I’m glad I did. Summary review: I give the redesigned IQ2 an “A”. It works so much better than the IQ! One caution, other then the battery, there are no interchangeable parts between the two models, even tho they might look like it. So, when buying a new vaporizer, get the replacement parts you’ll need. Detailed review: Heating chamber and vapor path – they said it was redesigned; they are right. The IQ would build up resin chunks between the oven exit and the flavor chamber requiring intense cleaning with lots of q-tips, 91% isopropanol and some fancy digging. The IQ2 does not have the same gap so there is nowhere for resins to collect except on the parts that can be removed, soaked in isoprop and cleaned easily. The oven doesn’t even get stained and nothing sticks in it. (Don’t know how they did that one.) This updated design is so worth it – kudos to the engineers who figured this out! External overheating – the IQ got hot, REAL hot. Too hot to hold. You could get a sleeve for the outside and that helped – somewhat. The IQ2 never gets hot enough to require the sleeve. (The IQ sleeve will fit the IQ2 but you don’t need it.) Vaporizing – the IQ would “burn” all the product in the oven. The IQ2 leaves a bit at the top (opening) unburned. It is green and the rest is dark brown. The instructions say to use the 3-in-one multitool to stir up the remaining stash and smoke again. DO JUST THAT! I don’t know why, but the vapor coming off the vaporizer after you think it is all gone (highest temperature setting) is just amazing. Lots of it and very potent. Don’t forget to Stir It Up! Efficiency– The ovens are the same size between the IQ and IQ2 but I get a lot more effect from using the IQ2, and yes, I used the same stash between the two. So their redesign has not only solved the overheating of the outside but has made the extraction of the good stuff so much more efficient and cooler to inhale. External buttons (switches) – the UP/Down and On/Off buttons work so much better then those on the IQ, have a more positive feel and work the first time you click them. Another great redesign. Air path – they have redesigned how air gets into the oven with an adjustable valve on the bottom. I don’t move it much but figure the redesign is part of what makes it more efficient. Pearl – the pearls are different between the two. The IQ2 pearl is more sturdily connected so I probably won’t lose them in the garden so often. Extra – there is something going on with the lights that I have not figured out. But no matter, it works even if I don’t know what the lights are telling me.

Once I figured out how to pack my dosage pods and the oven I found this device to be everything I could need or want. The 10mm adapter allows me to use all sorts of accessories. The removable battery means I never have to wait for it to charge. The dosage pods and holder are amazingly convenient. This device needs a tight and firm pack, if your using the oven I recommend closing the airdial fully and with the pods open it fully. I have learned full ceramic dosage pods keep their lids on, if they are empty the lids can easily fall off. Once I started getting good vapor from figuring out the optimal pack, smart path, and airflow I don’t want to use anything other than my pods. They keep my device so clean, and save me so much time cleaning and messing with the oven. The added functionality of the flavor chamber is very unique and nice for spicing things up. Finally, the amethyst color is gorgeous, and feminine enough it’s secured it’s safety from my boyfriend hogging it.

I wanted accurate control of temperature, I purchased the previous model IQ it was very good but there were a couple of failings, as soon as my new IQ2 arrived and I held it I noticed it felt great, the chamber is bigger and the top stays closed, I am really happy and would highly recommend the IQ2

Great product !!! The only thing is that battery takes a long time to charge and doesn't last very long

So I’ve been a DAVINCI fan since the ascent came out in 2014 and that was a near perfect portable vaporizer. Now, as I delve into different stages of my life I found that once again a vaporizer would be the route I prefer insofar as applicability, quickness, smoke, and smell. I’ve used PAXX products before and to be honest, I was never impressed so that was out. I’ve used Volcano and Puff Co as well so those entered my consideration, but I never thought they matched the bang for my buck. Enter DAVINCI: first I ordered the miqro and it was great in terms of functionality, but I couldn’t load enough herb!! Anything good to say about this product consider it said. Battery life is great, I get about eight bowls at 418 before I need another charge, not to mention how easy it is to throw a concentrate in at the same time. Great product, only vaporizer I’ll ever buy

The IQ2 works pretty well! I've had it for a little under a week and have only used it for dry herb so far and it definitely gets the job done. It does get pretty hot, but not untouchable. Biggest disappointment is the lack of the dosage app that gets hyped up but doesnt exist, and doesnt seem to have any development update posted. After reading/watching some reviews/videos the best I can tell the date changed from Dec 2019, to Feb '20, to March '20, and now its July '20 still nothing. Onboard dosage is nice but unless you're looking at the screen after a draw it seems useless?
