Opened and must admit I wasn’t blown away with my first 2 glasses, was too earthy and leathery. However a day later went back and just loved it. The sour cherry, tannic pithiness was front and centre and smashed the last half the bottle. Just wish our entry Sangiovese was as good as this

A wonderful medium bodied red that you would comfortably place in front of any guest.

Soft, smooth and supple. Very smashable and at a good price too.

It's a wine to drink when you don't want to think. Value is pretty good!

I chased this one down after reading a very good review in respected wine mag - but I actually bought the 2017 - there can be variations from vintage to vintage - I will get some 2018 to let you know! Anyway, medium to firm tannins and balance. Nuances of red and dark cherries with blackberries. I have had a couple of bottles of these now and everyone at the table has commented how much they liked it with the variety of Italian food we had - it gets better after some time to 'breathe' - suggest you have an extra bottle under the table - one will not be enough!
