“There are only a few Pinots that I snatch up every time I see them (rarely often enough) and this is one. Made about as far south as you can grow Pinot anywhere in the world. Maybe it's their experience in Oregon but this wine is quite different from other Tassie Pinots. There are red berry hints but darker, woodsmoke, more fine tannins, great length and real elegance. I would love to be able to save a few bottles for long term storage but haven't managed too yet !”
