“If a rookie is young, starting out and not yet fully competent, that's a clue to how this particular wine comes across to me. (Not the winemaker who, I'm guessing, knows precisely what he's doing.) The flavour pops, lots of acidity, light weight but interesting enough to keep me coming back for another sip. I respect the ideology of minimal intervention, but I think this wine suffers because of it.”
