A gifted set, my daughter was thrilled, her fried eggs presented so well. This set now for me I thought I would try and see what my poached egg would be and it held its shape so perfectly. Although it still sat in the pan my Mini Chopula picked it up so grand!

I have been very pleased with my Flegg. If I use cooking spray on it the egg releases completely but can't be flipped. Sometimes that is fine with me. If I want to flip it, I do not use the spray, and release the egg by running a butter knife around the interior first. I don't understand other reviews which knock this device. If you cook on low heat as they tell you too, you should not have a problem. I am old and this must be the fifth type of 'ring' I've tried over the years. By far this is the best.

I love the concept, and I'm sure I will eventually master the technique. If you could give me a few tips, I may be able to serve an egg like your video demonstrates. My problem is the handle is actually hotter than I expected and I usually use a piece of paper to work with it. Also, my egg either slips out too soon, and in pieces, or I have to scoop bits of the egg out of the ring. What am I doing wrong? How much time should the egg cook on each side? I already learned that cooking spray is counterproductive. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out and I am sorry to hear about your experience with the Flegg. There are a couple of ways to use the Flegg, but overall, the Flegg is designed to be used on a low(er) heat, with longer cooking times to create that burger-style egg that's super easy to flip! On a low heat, it's best to cook the egg until you're able to slide the Flegg with the egg inside easily around the pan before trying to pick it up or flip it. If it's falling through, it has not been cooked long enough to fluff up and solidify at the base before flipping or serving. The top has to be puffy, and should flip if it’s puffed up enough to fill the ring, even if still a little runny. Another way to use the Flegg is to keep it again on a low heat for longer, with just a little bit of water in the pan. Cover it up with a lid until you're able to easily slide the Flegg around, and it will fluff up enough to flip and/or serve right away.

not as easy to use as it looks, and not as easy to clean as a standard silicone egg ring

Can't get it to work like the video. Egg sticks to it, and it makes the eggs too hard if you try and flip it. Not satisfied at all.
