Dr Golly’s preschool sleep program has been a fantastic tool in our household. We’ve always struggled with our toddler’s sleep. Usually fighting bedtime - taking hours sometimes, waking throughout the night and ending up in our bed. We’d gotten to the point of just accepting this as our norm. When I was given the opportunity to explore Dr Golly’s preschool sleep program I took my time to really read and understand the relevant sections to my toddler’s sleep needs. I love that Dr Golly offered a choice of sleep settling ideas so that I could choose what I felt comfortable with. The program covers a range of things we may be faced with our preschool aged child. Including sleep, nutrition, dropping naps and development. Having received the program two weeks ago, my husband and I have so far implemented three strategies from Dr Golly’s advice. The first, being a bedtime routine chart. I made a visual chart with my son’s favourite character, of the steps he needs to take before bed. Each step is displayed with one word and matching image. Once complete, my son gets to ‘close’ the door to step using velcro dots. Since implementing this, my son is so eager for his bedtime routine to begin. He knows what he needs to do and will remind us too. The second, the ‘room retreat’ strategy. My son used to need someone to cuddle him to sleep. Since implementing the room retreat strategy my husband is now at the stage of sitting near the door whilst my son falls asleep. We are so surprised and happy at how well this settling strategy has worked. The third, just recently, from reading the advice, we have purchased a sleep trainer clock to indicate to my son when he can ‘get up’ for the day. We are hoping this prevents middle of the night visits. So far 3/4 nights have been successful and he is SO proud of his clock. He shows everyone and explains to everyone what its does. We are so happy to have accessed Dr Golly’s Preschool sleep program and will continue unpacking more sections as we ‘reach’ them with our son. This program has honestly changed our lives. We started the Dr Golly Pre-School Sleep Program feeling desperate — bedtime was a battle, nights were broken, and none of us were getting the rest we needed. Within a few days, everything shifted. Our toddler is now falling asleep independently, sleeping through the night, and waking up happy (and so are we!). But what really sets this program apart is how much more it covers than just sleep. It gave us practical advice around nutrition, bedtime hygiene, and even emotional and developmental milestones that really helped us understand our little one better. It made us feel supported as parents and confident in what we were doing — which is half the battle. It’s not just a sleep program — it’s a parenting reset. Highly, highly recommend.

I found this program really helpful. My son is turning 4 in May and his sleep patterns have changed (again). Just having this guidance has really helped me to feel confident with these changes, what to do, how to handle it and an idea of what to expect, it gives a sense of normality. My son is in the midst of dropping his nap so navigating this has been challenging but the Dr Golly program provides the reassurance I needed.

I completed the Pre-School program and loved how holistic it was. There is really helpful information on sleep, but also nutrition, health, development and school transitions. I’m sure most parents would agree that they don’t have time to sit down and do lengthy programs, so I really appreciated the succinct nature of the information. It was comprehensive but also very simple and easy to understand. It’s reassuring knowing that the program was written by professionals and there is even referenced articles at the end for you to refer to, so that you know the information you’re getting is evidence based.

Due to a house move, illness and move into a big bed, we developed some sleep habits in our little family that were no longer working and left us all feeling exhausted in the morning. Dr Golly's sleep program gave us the confidence and tools we needed for a big reset. I'm still shocked by how quickly our daughter started to put herself to sleep and sleep through the night again. I'm really proud of all of us.

With a few tweaks to our twin toddlers sleep routine and environment, we now have two little ones who not only sleep soundly through the night, but also feel excited to jump into bed every evening. It has completely changed the dynamic in our household and everyone feels lighter, more rested, and confident within themselves. I would highly recommend.
